The Sunbirds

In the month of December, Sterling Quality Entertainment Company through its Silver Stage Musicals brand presents a unique, compelling and deeply cultural story of The Sunbirds. Set in the heart of Central Africa, the plot revolves around two birds which had the rare gift of shining light to the world. The story sheds light into the intrinsic and beautiful African culture as the principal characters embark on a mission in search of the missing Sunbirds. Their journey carries them from one African country to another as they gather clues and solve riddles about where to find the Sunbirds whose high and swift flight is of essence for life to continue.

Created and written by Kenya’s youngest composer Danson Kiundi, The Sunbirds combines both African and orchestral tunes. The African musical will definitely bring to mind the wonderful memories of previous musicals with strong African roots such as Lwanda Man of Stone, Sarafina and Malaika.
